change indentchar color

Is there a way to change the indentchar color without creating a new color scheme? Ideally I would just like to put a single line in settings.json. Thanks!

No. Color scheme is the right place for configuring colors. If you want to avoid copying the entire color scheme file over you can use the include directive to use color-links from another color scheme:

~/.config/micro/colorschemes/mycolorscheme.micro

include "monokai"
color-link indent-char "#FF00FF,#FFFFFF"

Thanks! I tried that, but I get Color-link statement is not valid: include "monokai" when trying to use the colorscheme.

You might be using an old version of micro. Try updating to 2.0.14.

Great, that worked! It must have been a recent change, since I had 2.0.13 before. (Now I notice that I should have started the discussion as a Q&A, so that I could accept your answer. Not sure if I can still change that ...)
