🦴 Our vision

This mod aims to create Harmony between the dogs and the player throughout the game. Imagine playing a Piano Concerto, you as the pianist and the dogs as the orchestra. When the two sounds are being played, it creates harmony, which our ears love so much. Thus, the orchestra doesn't overwhelm but empowers the pianist. The mod is and will be designed along that principle. The dogs should accompany the player well while not becoming overpowered in the context. Although when on-demand, sufficient abilities should be granted to them, they should be required to work to achieve those. And you, the responsible owner, should help them throughout the journey.

Getting started.

Before anything, you must obtain a Trained Dog first.
There are currently two ways to achieve this:

From Vanilla Wolves/Dogs to Trained Dogs

This is the standard way to get your Trained Dog. A vanilla-tamed wolf is required.

1. You can obtain them as usual in the game by feeding a wolf in the wild bones until his texture changes and heart particles appear.

2. Right click the vanilla wolf/dog you want to train and feed him a Training Treat

3. He now turns into a Trained Dog.

Initial Summoning

If you have enable_starting_items set to true on your server configuration file. You can use the Doggy Charm automatically presented in your inventory when you first join that world.

Accessing The Dog's Menu

To begin interacting with your dog, a Stick can be used to access the dog's Menu.

Right-click the Dog anytime with the item in either hand and the GUI will open. From there you can start customizing your dog, naming him, adjusting your dog mode, etc. More information can be found in Dog Menu.

Note:

• Trained Dogs are now become Immortal.
• They can only be bred by Breeding Bones .
• They have nourishment points which means having food in your inventory is a must. You don't want your furry friend to starve.

After you finish these steps. Here comes the fun part ;)...!
