Each team member: what is one thing you were primarily responsible for that you're proud of? Chelsea: I was proud of relationships migrations and test - Faezeh: I was proud of understanding how things work at the database level and validations - Quin: I was proud of getting cart to work and order functionality - Yesenia: I was proud to work on merchant functionality and dashboard
Each team member: what is one thing you were primarily responsible for that you would like targeted feedback on? Chelsea: create order-items. - Faezeh: where our code could have been more human readable. - Quin: how order and order-items are related and work with each other. - Yesenia: View logic in our order partial of the merchant.
How did your team break up the work to be done? A mix of using Trello, talking on the design at the front end of the work, and just taking ownership of different parts of the work.
How did your team utilize git to collaborate? We had branches for different features on our ends, but we also made sure we are merging to master and then pushing master for the team to get updated.
What did your group do to try to keep your code DRY while many people collaborated on it? Using multiple types of helper methods and used partials for templates. We also at times worked on a part as a team or a pair, which helped us all to understand the code and keep it dry.
What was a technical challenge that you faced as a group? Authorization on Heroku - we had an issue with the github app secret and had to get help from two instructors to solve.
What was a team/personal challenge that you faced as a group? Communicating what is each team member is doing at each moment.
