This project is a discord bot which allows you to find the stats of NBA Players using the BallDontLie API
- This project is completley open source and you can view the code in nba_cooker.py
- This project was also compiled in pyinstaller so that you can easily download and use it
Instructions:
- First download the nba_cooker.exe
- Go to your Discord Developer Console and make a bot and save the token
- Go to https://discordapi.com/permissions.html and give the bot permissions and invite it to the desired server
- Run nba_cooker.exe and enter in the bot token
- Enjoy!

Usage Here is how you can actually use this bot: Note: Their are some limitations to this api which makes that we can't pull extremely accurate information, but it is close enough. If your discord embed also shows None for any of the values it is soley because of something wrong with the API and not the code .stats playername playername can be the players last name or first name. Sometimes if you just enter in either you won't get a response back because their can be mutliple people with the same first name so be sure to include the first name and last name
