The purpose of this project is to design and develop a fully functional website for the Saskatchewan Career Development Association (SKCDA), a professional, non-profit (voluntary) association dedicated to supporting Career Development Practitioners (CDPs) working across Saskatchewan. Our goal is to create an engaging and informative website that effectively advocates for the field of career development, fosters networking opportunities among CDPs, and provides valuable professional development activities for the association's members.
The website we are designing for the Saskatchewan Career Development Association (SKCDA) will cater to the following:
Northstar audience who are:
- Transitioning job roles
- Fresh graduates from post-secondary
- Professionals looking for CCDP designation
Carryover audience who are:
- Board members
- Members
- Volunteers including professionals, employers etc.
- Focus on encouraging people to join as members
- Enhance UI Experience
- A section dedicated to resource sharing and networking between members
- Appealing and responsive membership and payment forms
- Up-to-date events, conferences, podcast (news type banner)
- Driving Wordpress as Content Management Tool
- Available resources such as images, content, videos etc.
- Able to migrate domain name to GoDaddy
- Design implementation based on Northstar users
- Getting approval to use content from other related provincial associations
- Getting approval to use content from previous website
- Getting access to the member's login page to view information

- Our project's success led to SKCDA selecting our team for hire
