Sudoku

This package implements all the functionality to make a sudoku game, board generator, etc.

It provides:

  • Automated (valid) puzzle generation
  • A backtracking algorithm for animating the solving of the sudoku puzzles
  • A simple function to check if a given value is valid at a given position in a board
  • An example of how one could package a game for the web without using flash:

Installing and Compiling from Source

The easiest way to get started is to install the lastest release from the releases tab.

If you're looking to compile from source, you'll need the following:

Run the following commands to build the web assembly binary:

  • set GOOS=js
  • set GOARCH=wasm
  • go build -o ./examples/web/src/wasm/sudoku.wasm ./examples/web/

Or run the following to build/run a local webview game using the default wasm file:

  • cd ./examples/application/
  • go run ./

Make sure you set your GOOS and GOARCH back to defaults if you're compiling both.
