The mod doesn't show up in the content manager after installing the mod manually

Make sure you followed all steps on the official website specifically 1.Manual Download and 2.Installer

I can't connect to a server (failed to connect to server)

Hamachi: Please watch this tutorial and make sure you've done all steps shown in the video.

If the error still appears, allow network access for hamachi in your firewall settings. For that you need to follow this guide.

If you can't allow network access for hamachi in your firewall settings, then you are probably using an antivirus software which is blocking hamachi to access the internet. To fix that, you need to disable/uninstall you antivirus software or find a setting the the antivirus software itself to grant full network access for hamachi.

Port forwarding: First, make sure that the other player is using your external ip address to connect to your server. You can see your external ip adress here (first line). Also make sure that the port forwarding rule in your router configuration is applied to the PC running the server, is on port 4230 and UDP is the selected protocol.

If the players still fail to connect to your server, then it is very likely that your ISP (internet service provider) is not supporting IPv4 port forwarding. If that is the case hamachi is your only option.

The game is stuck on 'downloading save game'

You are probably using an antivirus software (avast antivirus and malewarebytes are known to cause this issue). You need to disable/uninstall your antivirus software or grant full network access to cities skylines in your antivirus software settings.

If you are still stuck on the 'downloading save game' screen, then you need to give cities skylines full network permissions in your firewall settings. For that, open the window security panel → firewall & network permission → allow app through firewall → change settings → Allow another app → browse

now go to your cities skylines game folder and select cities.exe. Click on add and close all windows by clicking on ok. When you are done with that, restart your PC and the issue should be fixed.

The game doesn't unpause/The message 'wait until all player have reached the same game speed' doesn't go away

all players must type /sync in chat. If it still doesn't start the game, then all players need to restart their game.
