Clinicwave User Management Service

Project Overview

The Clinicwave User Management Service is a Spring Boot application designed to manage user-related operations for the Clinicwave platform. This service handles user registration, role assignment to users, permission assignment to roles, and more. It solves the problem of managing user data and access control within the Clinicwave ecosystem, providing a secure and efficient way to handle user interactions.

Architecture

Installation and Setup

Prerequisites

• Docker
• Java 17 or higher
• Maven 3.6.0 or higher

Steps

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/ClinicWave/clinicwave-user-management-service.git
   cd clinicwave-user-management-service

2. Run docker-compose to start the required services:

   docker-compose up -d

3. Build the project:

   mvn clean install

4. Run the application:

   mvn spring-boot:run

5. Testing the application:

   mvn test

API Endpoints

User Management

• Get all users: GET /api/users
• Get user by ID: GET /api/users/{id}
• Create user: POST /api/users
• Update user: PUT /api/users/{id}
• Delete user: DELETE /api/users/{id}

Role Assignment

• Assign Role to User: POST /api/users/{userId}/roles/{roleId}
• Remove Role from User: DELETE /api/users/{userId}/roles/{roleId}

Verification

• Verify Email: GET /api/verification/verify
• Verify Email: POST /api/verification/verify
