AOPbot visualizer is an complementry tool with AOPbot which is an Text Mining tool that is specifically designed for the development of Adverse Outcome Pathways (AOPs). It is being actively developed as part of the Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC) project. AOPs are important conceptual frameworks used in toxicology and risk assessment to understand the adverse effects of chemicals on living organisms. AOPbot leverages natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques to extract valuable information from scientific literature and other relevant sources. It assists researchers and domain experts in the identification, extraction, and analysis of key components of AOPs, such as molecular initiating events, intermediate events, and adverse outcomes.
Getting started with AOPbot is quick and easy. Simply follow the steps below to install AOPbot on your machine:
git clone https://github.com/Crispae/AOPbot_test.git
cd AOPbot
npm install
npm start
After installation, network generated from AOPbot can be visualized here. Test example is available in the repository.
You can also explore vercel to test the tool at following link Visualizer Tool on Vercel
We actively encourage contributions from the community to make AOPbot even more robust and effective. If you encounter any issues, have suggestions, or would like to contribute to the project, please open an issue or submit a pull request. Your contributions are highly appreciated!
