Maintenance (plugin for Omeka Classic)

Maintenance is a plugin for Omeka Classic that allows to put an Omeka site in maintenance mode, with a specific message (public side, for not logged in users).

Installation

Uncompress files and rename plugin folder Maintenance. Then install it like any other Omeka module and follow the config instructions.

See general end user documentation for Installing a plugin.

Warning: Once installed, the maintenance is enabled! So disable the plugin to make the site open again.

Warning

Use it at your own risk.

It’s always recommended to backup your files and your databases and to check your archives regularly so you can roll back if needed.

Troubleshooting

See online issues on the plugin issues page on GitHub.
