Tips for Correcting MEI files

Empty System

Often, when an entire system is empty when loading a new file, the issue is that the OMR process did not catch the clef at the beginning of the system. All the neumes/divisions are in the MEI file, but are unable to be rendered without a clef on the system.

The solution is to place a clef at the correct position at the beginning of the empty system, and then refresh the page. The clef will be saved to the MEI file, and when you reload the page, all the missing objects on the system should appear.
