Releases: DPIclimate/enviro-node
Version 1.0.8 firmware
-
Messages longer than 1024 bytes will be copied to the modem filesystem
and sent from there. -
String utility functions have been moved to a project-specific library
and unit tests created for them. -
The ULP initialisation has been moved to before the check for dropping
into the CLI. This allows pulses to be recorded while in the CLI to
make checking for them easier. -
Removed the
c1 on
,c1 off
, andc1 restart
commands; they have not been useful. -
Removed the
sd read
command;sd data
works better. -
New commands:
-
mqtt pubfile <filename>
: publishes a file from the SPIFFS filesystem. -
sdi12 st
: Runs sensor_task to allow a quick check all the sensors are
working. This command creates the standard JSON file on the
SPIFFS filesystem which can then be published via
mqtt pubfile or will be sent during the next normal run. -
spiffs ls
: lists the files in the SPIFFS filesystem. -
spiffs cat <filename>
: shows contents of a file on the SPIFFS
filesystem. -
spiffs rm <filename>
: deletes a file from the SPIFFS filesystem.

Version 1.0.7 firmware
Minor changes:
- The network registration timeout has been increased to 90 seconds.
- The RTC setting code will use the time from the modem if the modem time is from 10 seconds in the past to any time in the future. Three retries were added to attempting to get a good time from the modem due to delays being observed in the field.
Version 1.0.5 firmware
Version 1.0.3 hardware & firmware
This firmware release improves the OTA firmware update code by logging out of MQTT while running config scripts and increasing the modem's FTP timeouts to help with slow connections.
The breakout board was updated so the pins on the connector to the Wombat are in the same order as on the Wombat.
There are no changes to the Wombat circuit or PCB.
Version 1.0.2 hardware and firmware
This release represents the first deployed hardware and firmware.
