TCreator

TCreator is a tool inspired by MCreator, specifically designed for creating custom elements in the game Terraria. With TCreator, you can unleash your creativity and easily design custom items, and tiles, with more planned for your Terraria mods. For more information see the wiki here

Note: DO NOT USE THE MICROSOFT VERSION OF PYTHON, it does not work.

When contributing to the TCreator project, please exercise caution to ensure that you don't inadvertently introduce any breaking changes. We strive to maintain stability, and your contributions should align with this goal.

Installation and Setup

To get started with TCreator, follow these steps:

  1. Clone or download the TCreator repository to your local machine.

  2. Modify the settings.txt file found in the TCreator project. Update the path field to point to the directory where your mod sources are located.

  3. Run TCreator by executing the appropriate command or script for your operating system. Ensure that all necessary dependencies are installed. Dependencies of importance are Tkinter and pillow To install these you can run these in the command line: pip install pillow pip install tk

We welcome contributions from the community to help improve TCreator. If you'd like to contribute, please follow the guidelines outlined in the CONTRIBUTING.md file.
