IoTBrowser applcation for Pi2 Pre-release

A sample browser application package that can be installed directly to the Pi2 running Windows 10 IoT Core.
You can use the B Web Mangement page in the Windows 10 IoT Core image to upload the included application package.

  1. Boot your Pi2 connected to a monitor.
  2. Note the device IP address
  3. Open the browser of your choice and enter the Pi2 IP Address
  4. You should see the B Web Management page
  5. Select "Apps"
  6. Under "Install app"

    7. Browse to the location of the app package which was included in the GitHub release zip.

    IoTBrowser_1.0.3.0_ARM_Debug.appx

    Browse to the location of the app package certificate file which was included in the GitHub project.

    IoTBrowser_1.0.3.0_ARM_Debug.cer

    Browse to the location of the app package dependencies which were included in the GitHub project.

    Microsoft.NET.CoreRuntime.1.0.appx

  7. Click “Deploy”
  8. Wait a bit, think of all the places you want to browse from your Pi2
  9. Once the upload is done you will get a dialog "Install complete." asking if you want to reboot. You can cancel that for this case.

At this point the application is installed and you can start it using the "Installed apps" dropdown. Select the IoTBrowser entry (ignore the rest of the line) and click "Start".
