@JooHyukKim @susanw1 Ok so I think this would fix the problem wrt Native Object Ids (YAML).
I am not sure there is an actual bug for JSON handling; it looks rather that formerly missing Object Id was not being caught in such cases (although I'll try to re-read #3838 to make sure I understand it).
