Gacha-Game

My friend (E***) was angry since he couldn't get the good character in Honkai Star Rail (idk what character it was). So I decided to code my own gacha game for him so he could feel the satisfaction of pulling op characters. This is also a good opportunity for me to try making a game that doesnt use js canvas. Ignore the anime girl theme, E*** is into that kind of stuff. Also almost all images are AI generated (thanks Bing image generator and Chat GPT 4).

Plot:
The protagonist, Eco, eats too much food and falls through spacetime due to his insane density, the godess saves him by sending him to another world. Eco must defeat the demon lord in order to return to his origional word. Along the way, he will need to gain companions and beat dungeons. (maximum cringe plotline requested by E***)

Update 1: I despise css.

Update 4: Combat is still not done. Also, I hate css.
Update 5: I decided to deploy the still unplayable version of the game here

Update 8: Microsoft Word > Photoshop for editing images and making assets.

Update 9: Me when drawing a rounded triangle on desmos is easier than amking one with css. Also, did I mention I hate css
Update 10: You know what's worse than css? Making css for mobile. Also Grim4Reaper has become 3 characters in game...
Update 11: I have procrastinated for far too long. Making the pulls and shop tabs is going to be painful.
Update 12: Pulls was a pain to make, the css was annoying as always. (Thanks 'J' for their help moral support)
Update 13: Wow, the css I wrote at the beginning of this project is ass.
Update 13: Its been a while, but I have fixed most of the missing assets now.



















































Don't tell E*** that the rng is rigged against him. Its impossible to pull any of the EX ranked characters lmao.
