Treble Quest

Treble Quest is a 2D platformer game created entirely in Python (and Aesprite for the pixel art), powered by the Pygame library. The heart of the game is embodied by a samurai who possesses sound-based abilities, hence the name Treble Quest.

Usage

To play Treble Quest...

1. Enter git clone https://github.com/Gurvirr/Treble-Quest.git in the Command Prompt/Terminal
2. Locate the cloned repository by typing Treble-Quest in Windows Start
3. Run the .exe file named Treble Quest

OR

1. Head over to the repository homepage: https://github.com/Gurvirr/Treble-Quest
2. Click the green dropdown labelled Code
3. Click Download ZIP
4. Extract the zip folder onto your computer
5. Run the .exe file named Treble Quest

Controls

Movement:

W / Space Bar to jump

A to move left

D to move right

Abilities:

F to attack (shoot a sound wave that can break crystals)

Q to traverse (perform a wave run, jump to dismount)

E to defend (activate a shield that negates spike damage)
