Hi Dan,
Here are two little fixes (the second one is purely cosmetic) that you might want to merge back, to allow to use your dxf import/export structure in FreeCAD. Basically I just removed references to wxwidgets...
This is a very nice and simple importer, I'm getting amazing performance with it, swallowing gigantic dxf files like a breeze :) well done!
I'll probably add some more stuff to it next (support for INSERT for example).
