Namespace Directory Contents

This repository includes XML schemas and other supporting information for ISO Technical Committee 211 metadata standards. A summary of the namespaces is available and each namespace has a namespace directory.

The directory for version VN of the namespace xyz in part PN of standard NNNNN is located at http://standards.iso.org/iso/NNNNN/-PN/xyz/VN. For example:

Version 1.0 of the mdb namespace from Part 3 of ISO 19115 is located at http://standards.iso.org/iso/19115/-3/mdb/1.0.

Version 1.0 of the dqm namespace from Part 2 of ISO 19157 is located at http://standards.iso.org/iso/19157/-2/dqm/1.0.

The ISO TC211 XML namespace directories include:

1. Namespace Documentation (*.html) that includes summaries of the namespace and information about the schema location.

2. Working versions of XML schemas (*.xsd)

3. Sample xml files (*.xml)

4. Schematron rules for the namespace (*.sch)
