Project Overview

Analyzing debate on Bill C-65 (An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (harassment and violence)) from the 42nd Parliament, 1st session to see the nature of discourse by political party and gender of the MP.

File Structure

The repo is structured as the following:

• Inputs contains the raw data used in this analysis.

• Outputs contains the files used to generate the paper, including the cleaned data sets, models, Quarto document, and bibliography file, as well as the PDF of the paper.

• Scripts contains the R scripts used to download, clean, model, and validate the data.
