Lua API

The Community Patch DLL adds many new Lua methods and hooks, which modders can use to change the game in new and exciting ways. This section of the wiki will attempt to document all the new additions from the Community Patch. As this wiki is created using volunteer contributions, errors and omissions are not unusual. The Community Patch team will be thankful to the user for pointing out any such errors.

This wiki expects the user to have at least a basic understanding of the use of Lua in Civilization 5. The Lua and UI Reference section of the Civilization Modding Wiki hosted at CivFanatics is a good starting point for those who do not.
