This release addresses a critical bug in previous versions of MailScanner when the milter is in use. Newly published versions Sendmail::PMilter module are not functioning properly with Postfix at this time and can result in lost email if on MailScanner prior to v5.4.5-3 and on Sendmail::PMilter versions >=1.2. MailScanner now includes a working version of Sendmail::PMilter to avoid this issue with the currently published version on CPAN and will take priority in the perl environment paths. The working copy will remain in place until further notice and includes failsafe code to guard against this condition from occurring by sending a temporary failure response to postfix.
