Language Configuration

RG2 version 0.8.3 and above include a language configuration option. The default language is English, but other languages can be enabled if the necessary dictionary file is available.

There are three ways to change the RG2 language:

  1. Add a line to the rg2-config.php file: define('START_LANGUAGE', 'fi');. All access to RG2 will use this start language unless the user requests a different language using a query string as described below.

  2. Add the query string ?lang='fi' to the web address. If the specified language exists then it will be loaded. If not then English will be used.

  3. The language can be changed from the Configuration options dialog, accessed via the cog icon. This automatically includes a list of all available language options.
