Evaluated dependency of hospital discharge costs on age, race, gender, length of stay, and diagnosis. Projected the singular as well as combined effects of the above factors using the bar, pie, and box plots. Conducted Pearson correlation, ANOVA, and Linear regression tests. Determined if the allocation of hospital resources was fair and unaffected by age, race, or gender. Concluded that length of stay and diagnosis group had the highest effect on hospital costs.
