ADAS

This is a Persian comprehensive review paper of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) written for one of my undergraduate courses. It highlights the significant changes and transformations in the automotive industry, where electronic and software innovations have become crucial factors for future market success. The paper begins by addressing the current state of road accidents and the need for advanced safety systems. It then presents an overview of the history and classification of ADAS. The evolutionary path of ADAS over several decades is discussed, providing an ideal vision of the future of these systems. The advantages and disadvantages of ADAS are examined, along with the main challenges associated with driving with such technology. The paper concludes with a discussion of the development prospects and market predictions for ADAS.
