OSNT SUME Home
The Open Source Network Tester (OSNT) is a fully open-source traffic generator and capture system and is available on the NetFPGA-SUME platform as well. On the NetFPGA-SUME platform with Xilinx Virtex 7, the OSNT generator and capture can be integrated into one stable bit file for the FPGA implemenation. OSNT SUME has almost the same functions with the legacy OSNT on the NetFPGA-10G platform, but we are improving the OSNT on the NetFPGA-SUME platform to add more features and functions.
As the OSNT NetFPGA-10G, with OSNT SUME you will be able to generate and or capture all packet sizes and manipulate the bitrate from line-rate to few packets per second on the four ports simultaneously.
OSNT SUME implementation provides methods for scaling and coordinating multiple generator/capture systems and supports 6.4ns timestamp resolution with clock drift and phase coordination maintained by a GPS input.
Before you start using OSNT SUME, please read the OSNT SUME Getting Started Guide. Also, users should visit the OSNT SUME Application to know how to run the applications with the OSNT SUME Traffic Generator and Monitor implemented in FPGA.
