Zambeze v0.2 – Liambeshe

Execution of activities on distributed agents: Shell and Transfer (rsync) activities, demonstration of dependencies between activities on nodes, resource manager (PSI/J) activities. Demonstration across OLCF resources.

Additional functionalities

• Capture stdout and stderr into activity message
• Ability to express a scientific campaign using activities with dependency
• Requires Activity ID tracking and Status / Control messages
• Per agent local database (SQLite) should keep track of local activity execution

Supported activities

• Ability to transfer data between two hosts
• Support rsync
• Agents may generate transfer activities to move data into resources
