Federating Trustroots 2025

A 3 year plan to refactor Trustroots into a federated platform.

• Like email, Scuttlebutt and Matrix
• Trustroots will become interoperable with other operators of the same standard.
• It will no longer matter where your profile is hosted.
• You could be juliamartin@trustroots.org, juliamartin@sleepy.bike or juliamartin@yourown.domain and you'd have access to the same functionality and the same community.
