PhoenixSheppy/README.md

Hi there, I'm Jacob! 👋

I'm a graduate with an associates in Networking Systems Management, and currently work as a IT Support Specialist.
I often find myself yerning to learn more, so I take it upon myself to learn new things on my own every day!
My Previous Pseudo-Company name "PhoenixNet" covered my work on my first homelab, but I've break off from it and create a spin-off Pseudo-brand "PhoenixNet-Labs" for developing projects that incorporate the technologies I learn in my day to day tasks.

My Homelab:

I've learned alot of technologies throughout my journey, and it's definately helped me decide where I want to take my career next.
Throughout highschool, and college, I had a wonderful lab, with Dell Poweredge Servers and Ubiquiti networking equipment. Now, as I've graduated, moved out, and joined the workforce I've decided to upgrade and focus my lab a little bit.

I've been harnessing my skills lately, and picked up some new skills along the way too!

My lab now has the following equipment:

Networking:

  • Sophos SG230 - Repurposed running OPNSense, Upgraded to 10GB w/SFP+ Modules
  • Cisco Catalyst 2960S-48LPD-L (Distribution Switch)
  • Arista 7124SX (10GB Distribution Switch)
  • Cisco WS-C3850-48P (Core Stack Switch)
  • Cisco Aironet 2802i's and 1810W APs (CAPWAP)
  • Various Cisco UC Phones (CUCM)
