Here are a couple of workarounds if one day MCEdit-Unified doesn't work.
- Make sure you download the latest version click here to get.
- You must extract the file or it will not work. Here are a few extracting programs to use:
For Windows (XP,Vista,7,8,8.1):
*WinZip-Free
*7-Zip 9.20
*Self-Built Program For Mac OSX:
*Unrarx
- Open the extracted file and look for a program called 'mcedit.exe' double click and if it opens, congrats, if not continue.
- If you are on Windows:
*Open up Command Prompt either by typing cmd into the run or if on windows 8,8.1 right click the windows key and click command prompt.
- On MacOSX:
*Open a terminal and
cd /Applications/MCEdit\ 2.app/Contents/MacOS/
./MCEdit\ 2
- Insert the program 'mcedit.exe' into the prompt and hit enter and take a screen shot of the prompt and make an issue stating whats wrong and we'll get a fix or tell you what is the problem.
