@ChenZhao44 @hongyehu -- here is the slightly updated code on which we worked yesterday. Pardon the delay in sending, it is a very busy Thu/Fri. There are a few more things that I am sending to Chen (probably tomorrow, Friday), related to ECC demo sims.

@hongyehu , the initial support (including embed) is now merged. Conversion to density matrices is not merged yet.
