Simply-Cook

A web application that allows users to search for favourite recipes. Users can also add ingredients to their cart and view a list of all the ingredients they need to buy.

Setup

To run this project locally, follow these steps:

1. Fork the project

2. Clone the project by running

   git clone https://github.com/<your-github-username>/simply-cook.git

3. Go into the project directory

   cd simply-cook

4. Install the dependencies

   yarn install

5. Create a new project in Firebase and add your Firebase config details to a .env file in the root directory of the project.

6. Create an account on the Edamam Recipe API website and add your API key and App ID to the .env file.

7. Run the development server

   yarn dev
