This is the manual for CrossCorrupt. It contains documentation for how to use the program.

CrossCorrupt is a general purpose file corruption program. It is NOT a memory corruptor, for that, we recommend RTC (real time corruptor). CrossCorrupt alters files on the byte level. Any file should work, binary or not. For best results, set your start byte to a value after the header. If the header is corrupted, the file usually won't open. Also, set your corrupt every N bytes value high to start, and bring it down. It doesn't take much to completely break a program, and that's no fun!
