How to upgrade the USB-C Explorer Firmware

No special hardware required!

1. Download the latest binary file and rename it FLASH.BIN.
2. Plug the USB-C Explorer into your computer with a legacy USB-A to USB-C cable.
3. While holding the User button, press and release the Reset button, then release the User button.
4. The USB-C Explorer should appear as a USB mass storage device.
5. Delete the FLASH.BIN file that is in the new drive.
6. Drag the replacement FLASH.BIN file into the drive.
7. Wait at least 10 seconds, then safely eject the drive.
