SSL is a go, docs were improved and a bit of a bit of a tutorial on trading was added to the quick start guide, and of course other minor improvements.

Development Round 1

We are proud to announce that after seven months, Merchant Empires by [Redacted] Games LLC is going to open up the dev server for users to try out the game before the Live Round 1 starts March 1st.

This is not an early beta release, this is a late beta release; the game is practically finished and the remaining portion is imminent. So far it has been worked on with no serious playtesting. To be honest, we don’t know if it works for anybody else but the core development group. The fact of the matter is if we don’t get some testers we won’t know if we are truly ready for the live round, and since the bulk of the game is open source our best testers are community members like you!

Live Round 1 Starts March 1st, Noon. Until then, have fun and let us know what you think!
