I am currently working as an IoT engineer/digital consultant at a japanese firm in Singapore. Prior to my current role, I founded a startup with 2 other cofounders developing automated and sensory systems to assist swimming pools in maintaining their pool hygiene. I worked day and night for almost 3 years before I decided that I wasn't going anywhere with this, so I have decided to hop on to do sales first before my current role. I will tell you my career backstory over coffee or my detailed history over a formal job interview.
I am mainly doing solutioning work these days, so my scope of work covers pre-sales and implementation work for IoT and low code projects. My expertise lies in IoT integration for end-to-end applications, with a history of digitalizing assets such as PLCs and industrial pumps for data visualisation or remote control, and exploration of low cost, low code tools for productivity or business automation. I am comfortable in developing python or javascript based scripts or applications, especially for integration with cloud services, third party apis or analytics.
Nonetheless, my whole career is based on learning technologies or understanding complex products on my own from scratch, which has built my adaptability to a point where I am comfortable in implementing technologies for both internal and customer applications. I come from the view of deeply understand requirements or problems before recommending and building at least a minimal workable version of a solution. Upon a successful PoC, I can assist in managing a full deployment of a solution. If you are looking to hire for your presales/solution engineering, internal innovation or system analyst teams, I do believe I will be a good fit.
Moving on from pitching, I am here to explore the multitude of amazing open source work put out by the community, especially in AI. I am glad that open source is also relevant for IoT.
