Creating our First Game

Now that we have ZDoom Starter installed and configured to our liking, it is now time to setup our first game.

Bare Minimum Setup

For a quick and bare minimum setup, you must have at least three fields selected:

• Source Port
• IWAD
• Skill Level

With this setup, you can effortlessly and expeditiously start playing your game with ease.

Customize your Setup

With ZDoom Starter, you are free to fully customize your game however you like and how you like. ZDoom Starter offers a few settings that are common, but you are free to add custom parameters as well for further flexibility. But also, you can add as many PWADs as you wish. Just be sure that the PWADs are not only compatible with the main game, but also with other PWADs.
