These are my dotfiles. Take anything you want, but at your own risk.
- Homebrew (packages: Brewfile)
- homebrew-cask (packages: Caskfile)
- Node.js + npm LTS (packages: npmfile)
- Latest Ruby (packages: Gemfile)
- Latest Git, Bash 4, Python 3, GNU coreutils, curl
- Hammerspoon (config: keybindings & window management)
- Mackup (sync application settings)
On a sparkling fresh installation of macOS:
sudo softwareupdate -i -a
xcode-select --install
The Xcode Command Line Tools includes git and make (not available on stock macOS).

Then, install this repo with curl available:

This will clone (using git), or download (using curl or wget), this repo to ~/.dotfiles. Alternatively, clone manually into the desired location:
git clone https://github.com/SpiritBreaker226/dotfiles.git ~/.dotfiles
Use the Makefile to install everything listed above, and symlink runcom and config (using stow):
cd ~/.dotfiles
make
- Using Font Book application add Powerline fonts in Dropbox Font folder

- Log in to Dropbox (and wait until synced)
ln -s ~/.config/mackup/.mackup.cfg ~(until #632 is fixed)mackup restore
- For Sublime install Package Manager to use packages added by Mackup
- For Settings Sync in VSCode
- Login into GitHub
- Select the Settings GIST
- Download the latest settings for VSCode

You can put your custom settings, such as Git credentials in the system/.custom file which will be sourced from .profile automatically. This file is in .gitignore.
Alternatively, you can have an additional, personal dotfiles repo at ~/.extra. The runcom .profile sources all ~/.extra/runcom/*.sh files.
