I noticed that some of the API endpoints return lower quality images from the proxy. Is possible to replace these with the higher quality images? Primarily on thumbnails and channel banners

I recently worked on TeamPiped/Piped-Backend#677, which should now allow us to make the database changes necessary to store multiple thumbnail qualities.
