If you discover any security vulnerabilities, please report them responsibly. We value your help in keeping our project secure.

How to Report

  1. Email the Maintainers: Please send an email to [itsahson1978@gmail.com] with the subject line: "Security Issue in PNG to PPT Converter".

  2. Include the Following Information:

    • A detailed description of the vulnerability.
    • Steps to reproduce the issue.
    • Potential impact and possible fixes.
  3. Do Not Create a Public Issue: To avoid exposing the vulnerability, please refrain from opening a public issue on GitHub.

Response Time

We aim to respond to security issues within 48 hours. Once the issue is verified, we will work on a fix and inform you of the timeline for the patch release.

Disclosure Policy

We will release security updates as soon as possible and credit you for reporting the vulnerability unless you wish to remain anonymous. Public disclosure of the vulnerability will occur only after the patch is released.

πŸ” Best Practices

We encourage users and contributors to follow best security practices when using and contributing to the project:

  • Use Strong Passwords: If applicable, ensure that any credentials used in the project are strong and securely stored.
  • Keep Dependencies Updated: Regularly update dependencies to their latest versions to mitigate known vulnerabilities.
  • Review Code Contributions: When contributing, review code thoroughly to avoid introducing new vulnerabilities.

πŸ”„ Versioning & Updates

The security policy and our approach to security are subject to change as the project evolves. We will update this document accordingly.
