Welcome to FSSS.

Meet the synthesizers:

Floored Square Simple Synth:

FSSS is the main keyboard-style synthesizer, as well as the oldest. As of current FSSS is lacking in the mouse department, but does have plenty of key macros, and a handy waveform visualizer.

Currently it only supports QWERTY keyboards. keys q-] and z-/ with the black keys assigned to the rows above.

Floored Square Simple Drum Loop

FSSDL is the resident 3 instrument drum sequencer. it has both 8 and 16 cell modes, (with each beat being assignable to a number of cells, and each cell able to accommodate percussion 1 note.) at each of the 16 cells the loop can be easily terminated. the beats per minute are adjustable at increments of 5, and FSSDL is capable of loading and saving the programmed rhythm and all its parameters can be adjusted on-the-fly.

Floored Square Chip-remin

FSCr is a Theremin-based mouse-driven synth, And the first synth in the FSSS suite to use real-time synthesis. Volume is controlled via the mouse's vertical position, and the frequency is controlled via the mouse's horizontal position. This one has a distinct sound when fast movements of the mouse are made, a stepped glissando occurs due to the (relatively) long sample chunk generated by the algorithm.

Floored Square Chord-remin

FSCHr is a Theremin-based mouse-driven synth, and is a Chord-based variant of FSCr. it is played by using the same range of keys as FSSS, but uses some math to enable the player to "slide" the notes around a range of chords in a similar scheme to how the player controls FSCr.
