Sem 1 Week 9/10
Sem 2 Week 4
Sem 2 Week 8
Agile is a project management methodology that offers flexibility, collaboration, and iterative development to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Our team follows the Scrum framework, which organises work into short fixed-length iterations called sprints.
Our sprint cycle consists of two weeks, allowing for focused code development and regular feedback. Each sprint includes the following:
Sprint Review, Retro, Planning Meeting:
At the beginning of each sprint, the team gathers to review completed work and get feedback from the client for any adjustments needed. Retrospective focuses on improving team processes by reflecting on what went well during the sprint and identifying areas for improvement. Following this, the team will discuss the goals and scope of the upcoming sprint. High-priority tasks will be outlined from the backlog, and the team will collaboratively assign them to the developers.
Development Session:
Following the sprint review session, the team engages in development work such as writing code, testing, and integrating changes into the project. This is a great opportunity for collaboration, allowing team members to pair-program, seek assistance from PM and TL, and engage in code reviews.
Stand-up Meetings:
Typically, between Sprint reviews and development sessions, stand-up meetings allow team members to address any challenges or blockers that may prevent them from progressing with their tasks. These weekly brief sessions last around 10-15 minutes and provide an opportunity for each team member to share their progress.
