Overview

Solar Save is a web application designed to facilitate carbon offset donations. The application offers functionalities for three user types: Admin, Staff, and Householder.

Features

Householder

• Browse countries and associated projects for donations.
• Donate via PayPal (sandbox donation).
• Calculate Carbon offset using a calculator.

Staff

• View user statistics (number of donations, projects donated to).
• Export statistics as an Excel sheet.

Admin

• View statistics for users and staff.
• Suspend householder accounts.
• Delete accounts.
• Approve staff registration requests.

Uncompleted Features

• Interactive 24/7 Chat Functionality for staff to resolve householder queries.
• Payment using Stripe (currently, only PayPal is implemented for sandbox donations).

Technologies Used

• Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Backend: Flask, SQLite.
