This is a script that auto downloads paper servers and optimizes it for you!
You Have to run the one time installer as root!

Note : This just generates the files for the server! It dosent "install" the minecraft server to your root directory per se

Readme for linux

Java 8 is automatically installed in this becuase it is the best version for a minecraft server Python3 and pip is also installed

Installation for Ubuntu!

First make a directory where you want to store the program, then cd into the directory and run -
bash <(curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ad1tya2/mcserver-installer-and-optimizer/main/install.sh)

Installation for Centos!

First make a directory where you want to store the program, then cd into the directory and run -
bash <(curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ad1tya2/mcserver-installer-and-optimizer/main/centosinstall.sh)

usage

run - ./mcinstaller.sh

Readme for Windows

You need to install the dependencies i.e python3 + pip to run this generator and java also if you want to run your server on the same machine

FOR WINDOWS!

1. Clone the repo or download it as a zip file
2. Double click on the firstrun.bat file inside the folder for the first time using it
3. After that you have to use mcinstaller.bat to generate the files!
