This repository contains the code to download and build the external software used by the Belle II Analysis Software Framework (basf2).
Most users should be able to just install precompiled versions and should not need to recompile the externals by hand. Please check the documentation.

All other packages are just dependencies of these and versions between them are fixed in
the externals. The actual dependencies are determined using pip-compile
from
pip-tools, see
tools/create_python_requirements.py
for details.
The package sphinx-argparse is included in
a modified version containing some patches not yet included upstream (found in
src/sphinx-argparse
