Introduction

To make Minecraft pre-1.13 run on Windows 10/11 with Intel HD Graphics, you need to run the game with Java 8u51.

⚠️ It is important you don't install Java 8u51 with the installer.

Doing so will make your whole system default to 8u51. You only need 8u51 for your Minecraft.
