New changes:

  • Allow invalid values in the input elements. Many players tend to delete the entire string of hostname/port before entering a new value. We still validate the value before saving it to settings and enabling the "Connect" button.
  • Clarify IPv6.
  • Clarify port range.
  • If the input value is invalid, we show error messages that explain why the value is invalid instead of reverting to default values.
