In Spring 2019, I took a Theoretical Linguistics course. Given by Asst. Prof. Dr. Umut Özge, it was easily one of the most enjoyable courses I've taken in my undergraduate career. Digging into the mechanical foundations of language was an eye-opening experience.
This repository hosts:
- Lecture notes, by Umut Özge (License: MIT), link to original repository
- Past year assignment specifications and my solutions:
- Phonology of Turkish suffixes
- Morphotactic analysis of Turkish suffixes using a finite automaton
- Comparative analysis of Turkish and English syntactic movement constraints
Hopefully, this is helpful to someone.
