Analytics Project to understand purchase Behaviour of Flipkart Users

  • data/Clustered_survey_data_final_2.csv - Contains Survey Data of Users who currently use Flipkart
  • data/Combined_data-Part_3.csv - Contains Purchase Data merged with survey data of users.

Some Key Highlights:

  • Flipkart is used by Tier 2 and Tier 3 Users more than Tier 1 Users
  • Tier 2 and Tier 3 also purchase more expensive products Tier 1.
  • November is the Peak time of Sale for Flipkart
  • People preferred UPI over any other medium of payment,especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3
  • As People's income increases they also tend to indulge more in social service activities
  • Purchase behaviour Covid 2nd wave was different than 1st and Normal days, it showed people tend to save more than spend it.
  • During Weekday and Weekend purchase behavior was mostly similar.
  • During Beginning of the month people tend to buy products more on expensive side than mid or end of the month.
