Road Closure and Incident Feed

The Road Closure and Incident Feed contains information about road closures in the city of Austin, TX. This feed is maintained by the City of Austin Traffic Management Center and is published as a JSON file that meets the Waze Closure and Incident Feed Specifications. This information is also available as a tabular dataset.

Operators at the Traffic Management Center add road closure information to the feed using an interactive web map, and a Python script publishes the updated feed to the City's Open Data Portal every sixty seconds.
